If I tell you a secret, will you keep it?
What if I tell you a secret, with a special little wink? You know, a wink that says I would really like for this secret to be told. Would you think less of me?
Would it be different for me to write things here, hoping that you should stumble by? Perhaps you would get a look into my soul, and discover what a truly amazing person I am…Now wouldn’t that be a wonderful thing!
No, I think for now I’ll keep my secret… Oh, I would gladly tell you, but no little winks, no false pretenses. Keeping feelings bottled up is really not my way, but neither is this backwards way of getting them out.
I would really like to think that you do stop by. Just once in a while, to see how the place has changed, or even to say hi, just once in a while.
I’ll make a promise though, that any secrets I tell really are for you…
